Terminarch: poems

"Terminarch is the debut poetry collection of Jennifer Keith, winner of the 2023 Able Muse Book Award. The title refers to an "endling," the last survivor of a species, and the poems examine extinction, mortality, and memory alongside cultural and ecological decline. Keith places personal experience-loss, illness, and family histories-within broader historical and environmental contexts. Written in both formal and free verse, the collection reflects on the role of art and language as acts of preservation, recording what vanishes while sustaining human connection"-- Provided by publisher
