**Hari Kunzru**, author of _White Tears, Blue Ruin,_ and the award-winning, bestselling novel _The Impressionist_, was named as one of _Granta_'s "20 Best Fiction Writers Under 40." _The Impressionist_ was a _Los Angeles Times_ Book Prize finalist; was shortlisted for the _Guardian_ First Book Award, the Whitbread First Novel Award, and a British Book Award; and was one of _Publishers Weekly_'s Best Novels of 2002. Kunzru has written for a variety of English and international publications, including _The Guardian_, _Daily Telegraph_, _The London Review of Books_, and _Wired_.
