### Author Biography

**Caitlin Starling** is the nationally bestselling author of _The Death of Jane Lawrence_, _Last to Leave the Room_, and the Bram Stoker-nominated _The Luminous Dead_. Her other works of genre-hopping horror and speculative fiction include _Yellow Jessamine_ and a Vampire: The Masquerade novella, _The Land of Milk and Honey_. Her short fiction has been published by GrimDark Magazine, and her nonfiction has appeared in _Nightmare_, _Uncanny_, and _Nightfire_. Caitlin also works in narrative design, and has been paid to invent body parts. She's always on the lookout for new ways to inflict insomnia.
