### Author Biography

**Josh Malerman** is a _New York Times_ bestselling author and one of two singer-songwriters for the rock band The High Strung. His debut novel, _Bird Box,_ is the inspiration for the hit Netflix film of the same name. His other novels include _Daphne, Pearl, Spin a Black Yarn,_ and _Malorie,_ the sequel to _Bird Box_. Malerman lives in Michigan with his fiancée, the artist-musician Allison Laakko.
