### Author Biography

**David James Keaton's** award-winning fiction has been widely published. His first novel, _The Last Projector_, was featured on _Kirkus Reviews_, and his first collection of short stories, _Fish Bites Cop_, was awarded Best Fiction Collection of the Year by _This is Horror_. His second collection of fiction, _Stealing Propeller Hats from the Dead_, received a starred review from _Publishers Weekly_. He lives and teaches in Santa Cruz, California.
