### Author Biography

PHILLIP MARGOLIN is the author of over twenty-five novels, many of them _New York Times_ bestsellers, including _Gone But Not Forgotten, Lost Lake_, and _The Third Victim_. Before he was a full-time novelist, Margolin was also a prominent criminal defense attorney with decades of trial experience. Margolin lives in Portland, Oregon.
