### Author Biography

**Megan Abbott** is the Edgar award-winning author of eleven crime novels, including _You Will Know Me_, _Give Me Your Hand_ and the _New York Times_ bestseller _The Turnout_, the winner of the _Los Angeles Times_ Book Prize. She received her Ph.D. in English and American literature from New York University and her writing has appeared in the _New York Times_, the _Guardian_, the _Paris Review_ and the _Wall Street Journal_. _Dare Me,_ the series she adapted from her own novel, now streaming on Netflix.
